Treat yourself to a select holiday in the romantic Biber Evi hotel in Assos/Behram on the South coast of Turkey . Experience the delights of ancient Turkey – such as nearby Troy – in the rustic luxury of this lovingly-renovated bijou hotel. Biber Evi (Chili-pepper House) is a restored stone house in the old village of Assos (Behramkale) which faces the island of Lesvos and Gulf of Edremit. The house is said to have once been owned by a rich man in the village, who made his wealth by exporting acorns. He had three daughters, for each of whom he built a separate house, but this house was his own. Biber Evi is owned and run by a nice English lady whose name is Jacqui. This classy and romantic little place has only 6 rooms, which are decorated in Ottoman style with hand-carved furniture and wood paneling, have private toilet and shower and are non-smoking. The terrace, where you can see a spectacular sunset, and the garden, are for the use of the hotel guests only.
